Olympic Skier’s Amazing Parkour Practice

Swiss Olympian Andri Ragettli has wowed the internet after a video surfaced of him practicing parkour moves in training.

The 2018 Winter Olympics are fast approaching, and as video emerges of Swiss freestyle skier Andri Ragettli’s incredible parkour preparation, it appears the blonde haired Olympian is in prime shape to hit the powder.

But while the internet marvelled at the 19-year-old’s skills, Ragettli – who came to fame as the first person to land a quad cork 1800 on skis – insisted that the routine was “just a normal training we do sometimes”.

“We do that in training because balance is important in our sport, so we train like this sometimes, but not too often,” he explained. ““The first obstacle was hard, the drop on the ball, as well as the last one (the wallspin).

“The back flip was because I was happy that I had finished the course perfectly. That’s why I did that celebration!”
