In it’s illustrious 100 year history, no film crew has ever been allowed access to Vogue’s London office in Hanover Square, until now. On Thursday the 8th of September at 9pm BBC 2 will air the first instalment of its two-part documentary titled Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue. Directed by Richard Macer, who previously created The Secret Life of The Shop, the film promises to lift the lid on Britain’s beloved fashion bible.
'Vogue is a world where things are not quite what they seem and appearances can be deceptive,' Macer told The Daily Mail.
Following in the footsteps of Vogue US’s highly praised documentary The September Issue, the film offers a glimpse into everything goes into making such a revered publication, including behind the scenes on a Kate Moss shoot and last-minute cover star decisions by Editor-in-Chief, Alexandra Shulman. Airing just before London Fashion Week, one of the biggest events in the fashion calendar, Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue is sure to get you in style for Autumn.
