Victoria Beckham's Covetable Estée Lauder Makeup Collection

Victoria Beckham’s perfectly chic limited-edition Estée Lauder makeup collection has been revealed! It’s a 14-piece collection made up of dreamy lipsticks, glimmering eyeshadows, second-skin highlighters and matte bronzers…

Model, pop star, footballer’s wife, mother of four, fashion designer… is there anything Victoria Beckham can’t do? Just as it seemed she couldn’t accomplish anything else, she has created her first capsule makeup collection.

Victoria’s creative work and namesake fashion brand have always strived “to make women feel like the best version of themselves”, so her collaboration with Estée Lauder seems like a natural progression for the pop-star turned designer. Victoria is the perfect poster girl for Estée Lauder with the famous motto: “every woman can be beautiful”.

Since she was 18-years-old, Victoria was surrounded by some of the best makeup artists in the business, and she picked up “all the little tricks” of the industry. Now, Victoria wants to share these tips with women around the world.

In order to make sure her collection was just right, she tested the products until she got exactly what she wanted. “It was really about not compromising,” she explained to Vogue US, “and creating pieces that I wanted to wear myself.”

“I don’t want a red-red,” she said, discussing the lipsticks. Instead she opted for matte and orange-based tones, which she considers “a bit younger, a bit fresher, more modern.”

“I want to make it really, really easy to get this look,” Victoria said. “If I can do it as a busy working mom with four children, anybody can. You don’t have to be a professional makeup artist. This doesn’t have to take up huge amounts of time.”

To prove how easy it is to get Victoria’s look, she teamed up with Vogue to create a 5 minute makeup tutorial. When the busy fashion extraordinaire says “I’ll be five minutes,” she means it. After years spent with the industry’s best makeup artists, she’s distilled what works for her, and women everywhere, into a few swift moves.

Her signature “smoky, dark, quite sexy eye,” for example, can be executed in seconds with her shimmering eyeshadow palette of warm sandy tones, browns and greys. Then for extra impact, she adds a rich grey liner along the bottom of her waterline.

Her look is then completed with a dust of highlighter for a healthy glow, and a touch of her illuminating cream that is a magical brightening and tightening, primer and moisturizer.
