Country Living teamed up with the RHS to create a series of hen houses at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this week, working with a number of well-known designers and personalities.
Sophie Conran, Kate Humble, Deborah Meaden, Phillipa Forrester, Nikki Tibbles and David Domoney have all customised their own hen house to their own designs.
After the Show finishes, the hen houses will be sold on eBay to raise money for the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and farming charity Addington Fund.
Country Living Editor Susy Smith says, “We are delighted to be able to support our charity of the year, the Addington Fund, and the RHS Campaign for School Gardening, with our fun hen house initiative which reflects the current trend for sustainable living. It is wonderful that the RHS has been able to partner with us to create these beautifully individual coops that I am sure will attract some fantastic bids. Thank you to our talented celebrities who have all contributed time, energy and creative flair into making this project a success.”
