"I love all kinds of music, from the commercial to the underground," says the graphic designer from Auckland, NZ. FASHION

Alex Roe

A self-confessed shopaholic, London-based Alex Roe loves the world of fashion and everything that comes with it. "I find the whole industry fascinating, from the wildly artistic catwalk creations to the eccentric characters behind them," says the fashionista-in- training. "For me, glossy magazines are an important portal into the elite and glamorous world of high-fashion that I aspire to be a part of. They echo the flawless image the industry projects as well as keeping me up to date with this ever-evolving community".

Claire Sharp

A Yorkshire lass born and bred, Claire Sharp likes to keep abreast of the latest high street fashions. "I can't walk past a magazine stand without being attracted to interesting taglines promising '20 designer trends for under £20' or showing me how to get the look for less," Claire confesses. "I really enjoy selecting outfits and deciding what to wear. Whilst I do find high-fashion interesting, what really grabs me is the more attainable side - the trends you can actually go out, buy and wear yourself."

HOME & GARDEN

Rebecca Kehoe

A New Zealander by birth, Rebecca Kehoe loves her home and her garden. "I lead a hectic life and don't have time for hours wandering around antiques shops on the King's Road in London or the homeware sections in department stores, so in my spare time I just love flicking through magazines looking for inspiration. There are so many different titles available that you really can get a great range of ideas to suit all tastes and spaces".

Ben Broadhurst

Resident DIY-nut Ben Broadhurst is a handy guy to have around, especially if you have some flat-pack furniture that requires assembly. "I just love building things. I'm a very hands on, technical person - the area I find I need assistance though is when it comes to inspiration. For this I rely on magazines to spark ideas and keep me abreast of new techniques that I can then adapt and modify to suit my own home."

LIFESTYLE

Arabella Gibson

Ask media enthusiast Arabella Gibson what inspires her lifestyle and her answer turns straight to magazines. "I'm influenced more by magazines, than any other communication medium. They are tactile, interesting and dynamic," admits the London-based Australian. "Sitting back on the couch with a glass of wine and a great magazine is by far one of my favourite past-times!" she added. Arabella has made it her mission to share with us the top lifestyle stories and news of the day.

Annah Lansdown

The epitome of the modern woman, Annah Lansdown lives a busy and varied existence. "Magazines are an integral part of my life. As well as being a great way to spend the little down-time I have, I find myself turning to magazines for all manner of things such as places to go or insights in to current topics of the day," says Annah, our resident Globe Trotter. "I love to travel and get a lot of ideas for exotic destinations from magazines, and I never go on a trip without a few magazines to read along the way."

SPORTS & OUTDOORS

Andrew Burge

Hailing all the way from Sydney, Andrew Burge is the quintessential Australian man. "I grew up on sports, both playing and watching them. I don't seem to have much time for the playing anymore, but I still follow lots of different sports closely," says Andrew, who moved to London permanently last year. "I'm a bit of a stats buff and love the little titbits and trivia that my sporting magazines supply. The only problem is, since moving to Europe my sports repertoire has now expanded to include winter sports as well, so I'm going to have to order some more magazines!"

Donnie Bachan

Coming all the way from the Caribbean, Donnie Bachan is passionate about sports. "You can't come from Trinidad without loving sports, and cricket in particular!" explains Donnie, who has also lived in New York. "Whilst there, I developed an interest in baseball too and am a keen supporter of The Yankees. Since moving to London I rely on my sports magazines much more to keep me up to date."
