If you consider yourself a movie buff, then we’re sure you already know what films are coming out in the next few months, which ones will be worth watching and which to avoid at all costs.
Empire magazine offers you all that, too – however, unlike most of us they also have the opportunity to dig in deeper, visit the sets and speak to the people behind the movies. We’re not jealous…
Though as readers we get the lowdown too. Like, in the December issue, we get the latest on the next instalment of The Hobbit.
Empire went to visit the cast on set in Wellington and saw Peter Jackson in action on his ten-week postpartum shoot. Jackson’s a big believer in going back to shoot for a second time after taking a look at what they have already shot.
“You don’t discover the things you want to fix until you are editing,” he tells Empire. “I don’t understand why most movies, with hundreds of millions’ worth of investment, only go off and do something if it is a total emergency.”
