Lord's, known as the home of cricket, has come out on top of a poll to find the best domestic ground.
Featured in this month's All Out Cricket magazine, Lord's polled 62.7 per cent of the vote, which was 50 per cent more than the Brit Oval, which came second.
The survey, which was responded to by thousands of cricket fans, also showed that Lord's should be one of the five Test match venues to host the Ashes in 2013.
The home of cricket gathered 91.5 per cent of the vote, and will be bidding to become one of the five hosts alongside Durham's Riverside and the Brit Oval.
Also in this month's issue, Muttiah Muralitharan, who has just reached 800 Test wickets in his final match is the subject of 'man of the month', while there is an interview with chairman of selectors Geoff Miller, who said that teams can only find out how strong they are when they are defending a trophy.
