Djokovic wins Barclay’s ATP World Finals

Novak Djokovic won last night's final in the Barclay’s ATP World Finals.

Well what a year tennis has had. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal were knocked out of Wimbledon early on, leaving Andy Murray and Roger Federer to battle it out – Federer then won, but Murray took the Gold medal at the Olympics, then went on to win the US Open and now Djokovic has won the Barclay’s ATP World Finals in London.

Those of you with a Tennishead magazine subscription have no doubt been keeping up with the event, which finally came to a head last night.

The final saw Djokovic face Federer in a fantastic match. After Djokovic won the first set, we knew where the game was headed as Djokovic has never lost a match after winning the first set.

Djokovic’s father has been seriously ill recently and the player has credited him as the inspiration for his win.
