Lima experiences food revolution

Lima in Peru has undergone a food revolution, according to Food and Travel magazine.

The Peruvian capital of Lima has undergone a food revolution and is now an attractive culinary destination, it has been claimed.

According to Food and Travel editor Charlotte Swift, the city on the west coast of the country houses more than 20,000 restaurants - 8,000 more than London.

She added that culinary educational companies have become very popular and are even opening in the city's poorest areas.

The magazine has been exploring the reasons behind the trend for good food that is emerging in the Peruvian capital, with Food and Travel magazine subscription holders able to find out Lima's secrets in the latest edition.
