Jennifer Lawrence Gets Painted For Vogue USA

Hunger Games star adorns four separate covers for September issue, one of which is a work of art.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has been rendered in paint for Vogue USA as part of their 125th anniversary celebrations. The fashion bible commissioned artist John Currin to create a portrait of the American beauty, which is one of four covers for September, all of which feature Jen.

In the painted image, the 27-year-old beauty looks elegant and youthful in a flamboyant pink and white Miu Miu fur hat. While the other three covers are more traditional they are no less stunning, and are shot by some of the biggest names in fashion, like Bruce Weber and Annie Leibovitz.

It is no secret that the September issue is the most important release in every fashion magazine’s calendars, as Editors jostle to claim the biggest campaigns and the hottest cover stars, and they don’t get much bigger than the Hunger Games heroine, who currently ranks as the high-paid and most powerful actress in Hollywood.
