If you haven’t heard of Mickey Sumner, well you’re about to if you have a Vanity Fair magazine subscription. Not only is she an actress in her own right, but she’s also the daughter of Sting and Trudi Styler.
She graces the pages of Vanity Fair’s May issue, oozing Hollywood glamour as she poses in a retro photo shoot.
Talking about getting into acting, she says: “I had wanted to act since I was a kid, but I had a lot of shame attached to it. I didn’t tell anyone because I didn’t think it was ever a possibility.”
Now, having appeared in The Borgias and an off-Broadway film, her new film Frances Ha is due to be released next month. Speaking about the people she worked with on the film, she says: “The three of us became really close, and I feel like I’m really a part of this creative family. That’s what I love about my job—I get to be a collaborator.”
