If you have seen The Help, then you'll recognise the cover star of Vanity Fair's subscribers September issue, Jessica Chastain. In fact, even if you haven't seen The Help you should still recognise her, as she is everywhere and is often touted as the "next big thing".
After a series of roles in tiny films, 2011 seemed to be a good year for Chastain as she caught Hollywood's eye with roles in Take Shelter, Coriolanus and as we've already mentioned, The Help. Her career is now going from strength to strength, in fact her next film is sure to make a splash when it's released in September - Lawless was written by Nick Cave and stars Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Guy Pearce.
But speaking to Vanity Fair, it seems that Chastain remains wary of the success she's currently experiencing. “I’m the unknown everyone’s already sick of,” she insists. “I have a feeling that very soon I’m going to fail very, very big. I’m going to try something and everybody’s going to be like, ‘What was she thinking?’”
The actress has just been named as Vanity Fair's International Best-Dressed Woman, which she has tied with the Duchess of Cambridge, who is on the cover of the newsstand edition of the magazine. The September contains the full list, which is published annually.
