Title: The Word

The April 2010 edition of The Word magazine features a wide range of articles, including features on Lady Gaga, Rock Choir and Lou Reed.

Readers can expect to find out how Chris Salewicz believes that The Runaways invented sex, while Tony Visconti looks back at the career of music legend David Bowie.

Meanwhile, the magazine has compiled a list of the best and worst couples in entertainment, which might provide an interesting reality check for those questioning their own relationship.

As well as articles on Tracey Thorn, Rufus Wainwright, Dave Eggers, the rules of book publishing, Richard Coles and Steve Lamacq, subscribers can expect a free CD with the new issue.

The 15-track compilation features new music from March and includes artists such as Turin Brakes, Drive-By-Truckers, Duke Special and Robyn Hitchcock, among others.

Lady Gaga also recently appeared on the cover of Q magazine, with the photo showing the controversial singer topless with a sex toy stuffed down her pants.
