Locomotives International is a superb production, offering the only locomotive-focused magazine with a particular focus on steam and its operations, albeit diesel and electrics are also featured. Inevitably, given the demise of nearly all steam operations on public railways, there is a lot of historical articles, provided by contributors from various countries and locations. It is generally all colour (except where photographs used were taken in B&W) and also includes advertisements for books on railway subjects not always available via general sources. Certainly a brilliant periodocal.
