Prima magazine has given its readers a recipe for whipping up a tasty post-dinner treat.
Waffles with maple syrup make a yummy and easy dessert that takes just five minutes to prepare and serves four people.
Those wishing to give it a go should mix two egg yolks and 250ml of milk in a jug.
This should then be gradually whisked in to a mixture made up of the following ingredients: a pinch of salt, 175g of flour, two tablespoons of baking powder, two tablespoons of cinnamon and three tablespoons of golden caster sugar.
A separate bowl should be used to whisk two egg whites, which can then be folded in to the batter mixture.
Once this process is complete, around a quarter of the contents of the bowl should be ladled onto a hot waffle iron and cooked until golden brown.
This can then be repeated for the remaining three servings, with waffles accompanied by maple syrup, ice cream and sliced bananas for the perfect after-dinner treat.
Meanwhile, Prima magazine recently held an event for members of its online forum to allow them to finally meet in person.
