Can you believe it’s now 20 years since the first issue of Sainsbury’s magazine was printed? Back in May 1993 Delia Smith and her publisher husband Michael Wynn Jones came up with the idea to create a title for the supermarket and they’ve never looked back.
In the special anniversary issue Nigel Slater remembers the last 20 years of the magazine, along with Aggie MacKenzie. There’s also a look back at all the big names who have featured in the magazine over the years, including Nigella, Jamie, Lorraine Pascale and Raymond Blanc.
