RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gin Is A Real Thing

With 19 botanicals, including rose root, rose water and juniper, it’s a veritable bouquet in a bottle.

If you’re missing out on going to the annual gardening extravaganza which kicks off today, fret not, for now you can recreate the RHS Chelsea Flower Show ‘spirit’ at home. The gin has been created by famous family-run grocer Partridges to commemorate the historic association between flower nurseries and the Kings Road in Chelsea, home of Partridges flagship store.

In collaboration with Martin Marry, Master Distiller at Dunnet Bay Distillers in Scotland, it is a London Dry gin containing 19 botanicals altogether, including rose petals, marigold, verbena, cassia bark and juniper.

John Shepherd, managing director of Partridges, said: “Gin is a quintessential British drink and will be a central piece of the Chelsea Flower jigsaw that promotes all things Chelsea, Partridges and artisan food and drink makers.”

Bottled at 42.5% abv, the drink will be available in a 50cl bottle for £29.95 or a 5cl bottle for £3.99, and sold in a gorgeous bottle adorned with roses.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show kicks off on Tuesday 23 May, and runs for five days in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, London.
