  • He has an unbelievable fashion CV having been appointed Fashion Director at British title i-D in 1991 (at the age of just 19) and worked extensively with both American and Italian Vogues throughout the 2000s. His most recent role prior to Vogue was Creative and Fashion Director at America's W magazine since 2011.

  • Edward Enninful’s dog is more popular than you. Boston Terrier puppy Ru (named after US drag artist RuPaul) has over 11,000 Instagram followers, and a plum spot in the Vogue office.
  • He was awarded an OBE in 2016 for services to diversity in the fashion industry.
  • His first move as editor of Vogue was to launch the magazine on Snapchat Discover which has been live since August 1 and offers shareable stories reflecting the best of what the 101-year old magazine has to offer in fashion, beauty and culture.
  • His first appointments have been MAJOR. Internationally renowned British make-up artist Pat McGrath has been named beauty editor-at-large, while Val Garland, Sam McKnight, Guido Palau and Charlotte Tilbury have all been confirmed as contributing beauty editors.
  • The December issue of Vogue will officially be Enninful’s first. Despite taking over the role of editor in Summer, Next month’s edition (due early November) will be his actual debut.
  • You can be one of the first to get your perfectly manicured paws on it.  Simply subscribe before October 29 and receive the December issue in the post.
