TIME could name Miley Cyrus Person of the Year!

TIME magazine have released their shortlist for Person of the Year, which includes Miley Cyrus, Barack Obama and Edward Snowden.

TIME magazine are famous for keeping abreast of the latest news.. and we can’t fault them for naming one of the most controversial/talked about people of the past 12 months in their Person of the Year shortlist. Of course, we’re talking about Miley Cyrus!

"The recognition goes to the person who TIME's editors think most influenced the news this year, for good or bad," the magazine say about their reasoning behind the names on the list.

Others listed include last year’s winner Barack Obama, Pope Francis, Syrian president Bashar Assad, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani and N.S.A leaker Edward Snowden.

Readers will be able to vote for who they believe has been the most influential person of 2013.
