Brits looking for inspiration on where to take a break in 2010 should look no further than a Wanderlust magazine for Christmas.
According to the publication, picking up a copy of the December/January edition will be enough to whet the appetite of any travel enthusiast.
The latest issue features a month-by-month guide to the world's best locations for visiting, including a look at the sharks, sand and world wonders of the Philippines, which it revealed hosts surprisingly few tourists.
Those heading to Brazil for Carnival are likely to have Rio de Janeiro in their sights - but Wanderlust explains that the city is just the beginning of the world-famous celebrations.
Meanwhile, the title also looks at the northern part of Sweden, which grants visitors a chance to experience a husky ride, ice hotels and the Northern Lights.
