If you’ve received the May issue of your Cosmopolitan magazine, you’ll have noticed that gracing this month’s cover is one of the most famous women in La-La-Land... Kim Kardashian.
Love her or hate her, there’s no denying that Kim Kardashian leads an extraordinary life – not only does she get stalked by the paparazzi every time she leaves the house but she actually lets the cameras in her home too to record several reality TV series’ and who can forget her infamous marriage to Kris Humphries which lasted all of 72 days?
It’s safe to say that hearing what Kim has to say about all of this is going to lead to quite an interesting read. Kim starts by talking about her past year, and what it was like having all the drama of going from engaged to divorced in the space of 5 months on camera for all to see.
“There have been times when you want to shut off,” she says. My sisters and my family, we do so much – but it’s not like you can turn it on or off. We can handle it when we’re all filming together; it’s the times when we’re not filming and it still gets intrusive that you go, ‘I don’t want this right now, I want to keep it turned off.’
“But then you look back and see all the support from the fans and from everyone who has gone through something similar. There is always someone who can relate to you.”
Having such a traumatic year has not put the reality star off finding the right man for her though. “I’m sure my soul will meet a mate one day in the future. I do believe in love, I will always believe in love, but my idea has changed from what I always thought... I just don’t believe in one soulmate now.”
