If you’re a dog lover with a Dogs Today magazine subscription, then no doubt you watched Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent final that saw dog and owner Pudsey and Ashleigh Butler win the chance to perform in the Royal Variety Show AND a very nice lump sum of £500,000.
Simon Cowell in particular was a big fan of Pudsey from the moment he padded on the stage with Ashleigh. Cowell had said previously that he wanted to find the world’s best dog act, and with Pudsey it looks like he may have just achieved that goal.
Not only is Pudey - who is a cross-breed of Border Collie, Bichon Frise and Chinese Crested Powder-puff - a very talented little dog who can perform more tricks than any dog we’ve ever seen, but it’s clear to see the loving relationship between him and Ashleigh.
Since winning the show, Ashleigh and Pudsey have been doing the rounds – interviews, chat shows etc. and Pudsey seems to love the attention. When asked what she’s spend the cash on, Ashleigh said:
