Kate Moss gets personal with Vanity Fair

Kate Moss opens up to Vanity Fair about life, work and love.

It must be a bit strange to be one of the most famous models in the world – seeing your face plastered on billboards, photo shoots, catwalk shows. Even more sore when every aspect of your personal life is played out in the media, but Kate Moss has always kept very quiet... until Vanity Fair interviewed her!

In the interview, Moss talks about growing up in Croydon, starting her modelling career and how the fellow supermodels took her under their wing. She also briefly touches on her relationship with Johnny Depp in the 1990s and husband Jamie Hince.

Describing meeting Hince she says: “I was at Lucie’s [a friend] house in the South of France, and we were Googling men. And I went, ‘Ooh, I like the look of him.’ A friend set us up. He turned up, and we spent, like, the next four days together. And after we finally woke up, I said, ‘Do you want a bacon sandwich?’ And he just laughed at me. I didn’t know he was a vegan. We’d been together four days. He wasn’t a vegan much longer. I did get him with the bacon sandwich.”

Despite being older now, Moss says she still knows what’s going on the world by keeping up with the likes of Lara Stone and Georgia May. Speaking of her lifestyle now, she says, “I don’t really go to clubs anymore. I’m actually quite settled. Living in Highgate with my dog and my husband and my daughter! I’m not a hell-raiser. But don’t burst the bubble. Behind closed doors, for sure I’m a hell-raiser.”
