The high street fashion label has just launched a new ethical fashion section, called the Conscious Collection.
It has done this in a bid to establish itself as a sustainable and ethical retailer, reports Marketing Week magazine.
All the clothing in the range is made from eco-friendly materials, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester.
H&M also announced it would be releasing an annual sustainability report to coincide with the collection launch.
Karl-Johan Perrson, chief executive officer at the high street brand, said: "I want our customers always to feel that we do our best to ensure that the fashion we offer has been made, transported and sold responsibly," reports Marketing Week magazine.
H&M operates in 40 different countries around the world and it employs somewhere in the region of 87,000 workers, with the aim of bringing its consumers fashion and quality at a low cost.
