From the publisher

Pianist magazine is the magazine for people who love to play the piano. Apart from all the top features and reviews you’d expect from a music publication, each issue contains 40 pages of sheet music, from classical to jazz, for all playing levels. There’s a specially recorded CD that comes with every issue of the magazine, so that you can get to hear the pieces before you play them. Plus, we have how-to articles that aim to help readers improve their playing and for those readers who need expert advice on particular technical problems, there’s always Tim Stein to answer your questions in his much-loved ‘Q&A’ column. It’s a magazine to read, to hear and to play!

As an improving piano player, Pianist magazine is just what I needed. There’s lots of tips and advice on how to become a more accomplished player, combined with beginner and intermediate pieces (I feel like I’m currently between the two) to practice. A CD demonstrating how to play coupled with lessons from experts, it’s perfect!

When I found Pianist magazine I was OVERJOYED. As my confidence in my playing grew -and my enjoyment of it as well- I began to feel part of a community I so greatly admire. The joy I now get out of playing my piano [a 1984 steinway M] is so great I had to let you know.. thanks to Pianist Magazine, I no longer play AT the piano, I AM a pianist.

I genuinely LOVE Pianist magazine. There is not an edition goes by where there isn’t some new piece I have never played before ends up entering my humble ‘party piece’ repertoire. The panel of experts really know how to pick them. Many of the playing hints and tips have also enhanced my modest playing abilities, so Pianist magazine is worth its weight in gold to me.

I have been receiving Pianist magazine in the mail for almost two years now. As soon as I receive it in the mail I am eager to read every page and listen to the music CD. I am like a kid in a candy store when the magazine arrives. I plan to keep my subscription to Pianist magazine for the rest of my life
