Working with an international collective of artists, from big names to fresh talent, boom saloon aims to democratise creativity for good by smashing through the barriers of status and education so often prevalent in the arts.
To further the fight, boom saloon has an innovative model - every issue feeds into a series of social projects in underprivileged areas. These use creativity to inspire and empower- supporting exciting new talents, wherever they may be, and providing a platform to showcase their talent to the world.
Boom saloon was launched via Kickstarter with support from around the world. The campaign was run alongside the team’s first video production, in collaboration with Campfire agency.
Going forward, they will continue to collaborate as the boom room- the agency branch of boom saloon - takes on work. All profits from this, and cover sales, will feed into running the social projects.
