Despite the disappointing weather we’ve been having, we’re happy to confirm that today is Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year and the official start to summer.
We can’t help but hope that now it’s official, Mother Nature will buck her ideas up and give us some proper sunshine so that we can do all of the things us Brits like to do during our fleeting summers.
One of the best things to do, as we’re sure those of you with a Coast magazine subscription will agree, is to head to the British seaside and soak up our beautiful countryside, eat fish and chips on the beach or head to the pier to play on the arcades.
We’re a small island, so the coastline is never too far away for a quick visit!
