Fancy going to the Vogue School of Fashion and Design?

Then get applying! The Conde Nast International School of Fashion and Design is set to open in 2012.

Earlier this year the publishers of Vogue magazine announced that they were setting up the Condé Nast International School of Fashion and Design. Opening in London in September 2012, the college will offer foundation level, post graduate and further education courses in the areas of fashion and design.

It’s set to rival the biggest fashion colleges in London, such as Central St. Martins and London College of Fashion, who have produced some of the biggest names in the fashion world.

"Condé Nast is perfectly placed to enter the world of education," said Condé Nast UK managing director Nicholas Coleridge. "The reputation and authority of our brands puts us in a strong position to teach and inspire the fashion and decorating talent of the future. We look forward to becoming the go-to academy for students from Britain and further afield. We are particularly fortunate that Susie Forbes (current editor of Easy Living magazine) has agreed to become the first principal of the College."

As the college opens up this time next year, applications will be flooding in. If you want to be one of the college’s first students you’d better get your skates on. Courses will include a 10-week intensive fashion course and students who prove their worth will be offered a year-long foundation course at British Vogue.
