Elle magazine's fake tan tips

Elle magazine has published a list of its favourite fake tans.

With summer approaching fast, Elle magazine has noted how the trend for tan is back and it seems the darker the better.

It suggested that readers use fake tans to get that well-baked look and published a list of products that should have girls looking great over the next few months, regardless of the weather.

L'Oreal's new Sublime Bronze Express Pro was recommended as a great natural and even tan which is helped by the fact that it comes in the form of a mist, rather than a rub-in product.

"Just remember to cover your feet with a towel to avoid the mist settling on your feet and turning them darker than the rest of you," the magazine advised.

Meanwhile, Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess Self-Tanning Lotion is a facial tanner that offers a light consistency and colour that helps avoid blocked pores and tanning disasters.

Fake Bake's Platinum Face may not sound the most appealing, but Elle explained that its anti-aging properties combined with the lack of scent make it a great choice.

In other news, the magazine has suggested that summer gives girls a great opportunity to crack out the old favourite, the fedora hat.
