Title: Time
Time magazine has revealed that the man suspected of carrying out the failed bombing in Times Square, New York, has militant ties in Pakistan.
The publication has asked a number of questions over the handling of the incident, including how Faisal Shahzad managed to get onto a plane set for Dubai, despite being on an FBI watch list.
His arrest took place on the plane shortly before it was due to take off from New York's John F Kennedy airport.
Time has also queried whether the government should have known about the car bomb in the city's busy entertainment and business district.
It was discovered after a street vendor tipped off police about a suspicious vehicle parked in the popular tourist spot.
Had the bomb detonated, it would have brought back unwanted memories of September 11th 2001, when terrorists flew two jet planes into the famous Twin Towers, which subsequently collapsed, killing hundreds of people.
