GQ magazine was in the enviable position of having access to the Heineken Star Experience at the recent Uefa Champions League final.
The game took place in Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium, which the publication found fitting seeing as the winning manager was ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
According to the magazine, "the special one" is set to end up in the Galacticos hot seat next season after a turbulent year in charge of Inter Milan.
Despite numerous rants at the Italian press, referees and authorities, Mourinho guided his side to a treble, also winning Serie A and the domestic cup.
GQ described its experience in a recent article and noted how its fourth-row seats gave the group a privileged view of not just the match, but the dugout areas too.
"Watching thuggish Inter legend Marco Materrazi go up and down the touchline, attempting to cajole the crowd was captivating," it said.
"Watching him take all the glory for approximately 12 seconds playing time, less so."
Jose Mourinho had successful spells at Chelsea and Porto before joining Inter Milan.
