What are you up to this weekend? Reading? Leeds? Creamfields? Or maybe you’re heading to the Notting Hill Carnival? We know we are! It’s London’s most colourful weekend and if you love Carnival magazine then we’re sure you’ll be heading over at some point.
Notting Hill Carnival has been held in London since 1964 when it was first held as a way for the growing Afro-Caribbean to celebrate their own culture and it has become a huge event on London’s calendar.
Tourists will travel from all over the country to come and join in the festivities and soak up the lovely atmosphere, where they can watch the festival procession, check out the stands and sample Caribbean food.
If you find yourself at a loose end this weekend and you’re able to make your way over to Notting Hill then you should check it out for yourself!
