Australian actress Rose Byrne is working her way up in the acting world. After first catching our attention in comedies such as Get Him to the Greek opposite Russell Brand, she then appeared in smash hit Bridesmaids and is now playing the female lead in I Give It A Year, which is due out at the end of this week.
Speaking to Glamour in the March issue, the 33-year-old actress admits that she’s still learning when it comes to fashion – which is very important when you’re constantly on red carpets.
“A lot of what I wore from age 20 to 27 I regret,” she says. “And I don’t get the whole ’90s thing that’s back in fashion. It reminds me of my awful hippie stage when I wore lots of crochet with Dr Martens - It was just terrible.”
She loves the British sense of style though. “I just love that you don’t care what people think, you just go for it. Weirdly, by not taking fashion too seriously, it frees you up to wear anything you want.”
