Fashion-loving Instyle magazine subscription holders can find out more details about Matthew Williamson's new collection of jewel-inspired handbags for Bulgari.
Speaking to the magazine prior to the collection's launch, Williamson said: "I had a pretty free brief so I skimmed the archives from about 1950 forward and came across the hexagonal shapes of the clutches that I embossed on the leather and that are also a part of the kaleidoscope print of the fabric bags. I added my own heart print for synthesis."
The resulting clutches are available in gorgeous emerald, sapphire and ruby shades, while larger totes sport a bright and unique kaleidoscope print.
Williamson added that he sees his collection has being slightly more bohemian and relaxed than Bulgari's usual offerings, however, he said they will still appeal to the brand's customers, who appreciate glamour and luxury.
The collection will be available in Bulgari stories from January next year.
Bulgari celebrated its collaboration with Williamson last weekend with a Bulgari presents Matthew Williamson cocktail party in Milan, which was attended by a host of celebs, including Rachel Bilson.
