According to Red magazine, "eyes were dressed up and dramatic on the catwalk for spring/summer".
To ensure your eyes "take centre stage", Red magazine advises keeping the rest of your makeup as low key as possible.
You could embrace the trend in numerous different ways, "channelling acid bright eyeshadow" or even "theatrical glitter".
The top tip from Red magazine is to use "a nude powder on your upper lid to help prevent your eyeliner from smudging and avoid mixing glitter with kohl as it can get a little messy".
Recently, celeb makeup artist Oonagh Connor, writing for the Daily Mail, said metallic green hues are very much on-trend this season.
She advised using a brush to sweep the green shade across your eyelids then donning a silver hue to add an extra touch of sparkle.
