If you have a Soaplife magazine subscription then we’re sure you’ll already know that Jo Joyner who plays Tanya in Eastenders will soon be departing from the show.
The actress has said that her decision to leave the show is so that she can spend more time with her family.
Speaking about her plans for the future, she says: "I've genuinely set our family up so I can take some time out and just be with them. And maybe do some theatre again.
"In years to come I wouldn't be going, 'Ooh, great, I've got lots more money in the bank', I would be saying, 'Wow, where did my children go?'
"So we're moving back to the countryside where we lived before I joined EastEnders. I'll be able to see my family and we'll have a bigger support network around us if Neil and I go back to work."
