NME magazine welcomes the return of Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire are this week's cover stars for NME magazine.

Arcade Fire have been described as the "saviours of rock" by NME magazine, and their album is reviewed inside the latest issue of the publication.

The Canadian group, who release The Suburbs on August 2nd, are the cover stars this week and have also given their time for a full interview.

"It's been cool playing songs the fans haven't heard before. It's like boot camp - for the new songs and for us being on the road again. I feel like we are playing the best we ever have," singer Win Butler told the magazine.

Also in this week's issue is a feature on Mumford & Sons, who have been playing a seven-day folk festival with Communion in London.

Manic Street Preachers star Nicky Wire talks to the magazine about the band's new album, while there is also a safety report on Britain's festival scene and unseen Libertines tour photos.
