While we’re all waiting for the Royal Baby to arrive and flicking through our copy of The British Guide to the Royal Wedding, we were quite happy to hear about another love story unfolding at Buckingham Palace recently…
Guardsman Josh Addison proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Marta Slowinska, in the Queen’s grounds moments after she had presented his battalion with new colours.
Colleagues watched on as Guardsman Addison bent down on one knee and popped the question as a shocked Marta immediately said yes.
Friends and family quickly offered the couple their congratulations, with Addison’s mother saying: “To see him propose at the Palace was tremendous. Marta is a lovely girl.”
Now… back to waiting for news of this baby!
