The 66-year-old talked frankly about her fear of death with the publication.
"I don't know if there's anything that I'm really scared of now, other than mortality," she told Attitude magazine.
While she is afraid of dying, she admitted she has achieved a lot in her life that she's proud of.
"I know that I can't front a pop or rock band forever, but I would certainly like to keep writing or start a clothing business," the singer told Attitude magazine.
Debbie said she's not ready to retire yet, adding she wants to continue doing as many things as possible.
Blondie broke into the music scene in the 70s and have continued to gather a cult following over the years.
The band will be going on tour this summer, performing dates at T in the Park and at Kew Gardens, among other gigs.
