Fashion lovers with a Vogue magazine subscription can read how Lily Cole's label scooped a top accolade at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA)'s Good Business Awards.
The accessories brand, called The North Circular, was founded by model Lily.
It won the Large Company Award for its stylish designs and animal-friendly production methods, reports Vogue magazine.
The North Circular only uses wool from flocks of rescued sheep, and it has worked to raise awareness of the importance of animal welfare issues.
RSPCA director of communications David Bowles said: "All these companies were recognised for leading the way in animal welfare in the high street and on the catwalk, and deserve our recognition as they set the standard for others to work towards."
British model Lily is best known for her trademark flame-coloured hair.
The Devon-born beauty was accepted to Cambridge University in 2006 to study Politics and English.
