Retro Gamer celebrate their 100th issue

Retro Gamer are celebrating their 100th issue in a very special way!

It’s not often you hear about a 100th birthday, but Retro Gamer magazine has reached that ripe old age. To celebrate, they’re re-printing their first ever issue and packaging it so it’s included with every copy of the 100th issue – making it the most unmissable issue yet!

The 100th issue includes articles from the likes of John Romero, Eugene Jarvis and David Crane, interviews with Rob Hubbard and Andrew Braybrook and features on some of the biggest gaming franchises, from Sonic the Hedgehog and Tetris to Grand Theft Auto.

But of course, the best thing about the new issue has to be that the 1st issue is included – the issue is out-of-print and a gem to both collectors and fans alike. For those who have joined Retro Gamer’s fan base along the way, it’s a great opportunity to see how the magazine began.

“Reaching the hundredth issue is an exciting and incredible achievement, and one we’re extremely proud of,” said Retro Gamer’s Editor Darran Jones. “We’ve worked very hard to ensure that the issue features amazing exclusive content, and we’re ecstatic with the support we’ve had from veteran industry insiders like David Braben and David Crane. We’re also delighted to include issue 1, as it gives readers a fantastic and unique opportunity to discover how our award-winning magazine began.”

Retro Gamer’s 100th issue is currently on sale – if you want to get the next 100 issues, subscribe and save on a Retro Gamer magazine subscription today.
