If you're a fan of Apple products and you've got a T3 magazine subscription, you will be able to read how the iPad 2 could come without a home key.
According to reports on tech blog BGR, the home button will be taken out when the iOS 4.3 updates go through, reports T3 magazine.
Due to Apple's never-ending attempts to produce ultra-sleek products, the manufacturer could take out as many physical controls as possible from its offerings, the magazine reports.
Apple sources told the blog: "We have exclusively been told that the reason Apple just added multitouch gestures for the iPad in the latest iOS 4.3 beta is because the iPad will be losing the home button," reports T3 magazine.
The manufacturer is also said to be considering creating iPhones which are home button-free in the not-too-distant future.
Recently, Apple launched a new Apple Mac App Store, which saw more than one million downloads within the first 24 hours of operation.
