Budding photographers with a Digital Photo magazine subscription can read about the new updates available for Adobe software.
The Lightroom 3.3 and Camera Raw 6.3 updates are now available for download and they should help bring support for photographers using raw files on their cameras.
Some 15 new popular camera models including Nikon D7000 and Canon Powershot S95 will benefit from the upgrade.
By using the Lens Profile Downloader 1.0 - a free application to complement Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5 and Camera Raw 6 - people can search, download, rate and comment on more than 300 lens correction profiles, reports Digital Photo magazine.
According to Adobe, Lightroom helps people bring out the best in their photographs "whether you're perfecting one image, searching for ten, processing hundreds, or organising thousands".
Digital Photo magazine reports the Lightroom 3.3 update is available free of charge to Lightroom owners, while the Camera Raw 6.3 plug-in is available free if customers have Photoshop CS5.
