Hello magazine has revealed why airport customers may have seen England cricketer Kevin Pietersen rushing through customs recently.
The star was playing in a tournament in Barbados when he was informed that his baby boy was about to be born, sparking a 4,000-mile dash to the hospital to be with his wife Jessica Taylor for the birth.
Everything went well and both mother and baby are fine, with the proud father clearly over the moon.
"It's my first child so it's a hell of an exciting time for me," he said before heading back to the UK. "I'll be dashing across the Atlantic and hopefully dashing back."
It is believed that Pietersen will return to the England camp in time for the semi-finals at the end of this week.
He had earlier helped his side to victory against South Africa with a great performance before jetting back to Europe to be with his family.
Meanwhile, Hello recently noted how David Walliams' fiancee dazzled in an H&M swimwear shoot.
