If you have HELLO! magazine subscription then you’ll have received this week’s issue which not only talks about the Royal Baby, but also features Denise Welch’s wedding in Portugal.
The actress and Loose Women presenter married her “toyboy” Lincoln Townley in front of 260 friends and family, including Jill Halfpenny, Ingrid Tarrant, Christopher Biggins and Tricia Penrose.
"This is about being together forever," Denise told HELLO! "There’s no one who can make me happier. This is my fairytale."
It is the third wedding for Welch, who announced last year that she and husband of 24 years Tim Healy had long been separated.
Welch says that the wedding fulfilled her fantasy to have the perfect fairytale wedding, despite eldest son Matthew missing the big day. His band The 1975 were busy supporting The Rolling Stones, pretty good reason to miss something!
"It was like walking into one of those weddings in an American movie," she says. "Every time I've watched one of those I've thought I'd love to get married like that. I had no idea how beautiful it was going to be."
