H&M also announced it would be releasing an annual sustainability report to coincide with the collection launch.

Karl-Johan Perrson, chief executive officer at the high street brand, said: "I want our customers always to feel that we do our best to ensure that the fashion we offer has been made, transported and sold responsibly," reports Marketing Week magazine.

H&M operates in 40 different countries around the world and it employs somewhere in the region of 87,000 workers, with the aim of bringing its consumers fashion and quality at a low cost.
