Biggest news in the racing world today is that Lewis Hamilton is leaving McLaren and heading over to Mercedes, replacing Michael Schumacher. Sergio Perez will take Hamilton’s spot on the McLaren team, joining Jenson Button.
It’s been reported that McLaren had made a very lucrative offer to persuade him to stay with them for a further 3 years, but Hamilton opted for Mercedes in the end – we imagine they also provided a financial incentive to win him over.
