Esquire magazine's tips could keep men looking younger, longer

People with an Esquire magazine subscription can read one expert's opinion on how reducing body fat could be a key way for men to continue looking young.

Men with an Esquire magazine subscription aiming to look younger for longer should take a leaf out of the magazine's book and work to boost muscle mass and lose the body fat, it has been suggested.

James Mitchell, personal trainer at the magazine, claimed that the most important aspect of looking fit is diet and emphasised the importance of correctly balancing intake.

He warned that the fact fats and carbohydrates are the most calorie-dense parts of the diet means that it is important to eat a diet containing a lot of vegetables and protein instead.

It is also important to eat more often, eating approximately five meals a day rather than the more typical three meals.

Mr Mitchell added that understanding how to put on muscle is also an essential lesson for young men, with the key being to do more reps before experiencing overload, as this will create a leaner and younger look.

Earlier this year, Esquire magazine reported that one of the best picks for people looking to maximise their workout could be to run to a high-energy and cheesy dance music compilation.
