At 37 it seems that actress Drew Barrymore has finally found her happy ending. It’s been a long and well-documented road, since she first caught the public’s attention in ET but she’s now happily married and has recently given birth to her first baby, Olive.
Catching up with Harper’s Bazaar USA, Barrymore admits that she kept her daughter’s birth a secret from the press for as long as she could.
“I definitely needed some time,” she says. “For a solid six weeks, I was hiding like the Unabomber. Because I live my life in the public eye, I didn’t want that for her…unless I move into a bunker underground, I don’t have a choice in this matter.”
Barrymore has recently started up her own make-up range, named Flower. She admits that make-up interested her more than fashion because: “I didn’t feel I could do a lot with fashion because I wear sweatpants that I find on the floor. I live for makeup and I like wine. These are my truths!”
