The Oscars, BAFTAs and Emmys may now be out of the way, but we have to admit to looking forward to the MTV Movie Awards. These awards are a little less high-brow and may well appeal more to those with a Shout magazine subscription than a TIME subscription, but do you know what? It’s usually hilarious!
This year was no different as it was hosted by Bridesmaids actress Rebel Wilson, so there were laughs aplenty.
The biggest awards of the evening went to Emma Watson who was presented with the Trailblazer award, Jamie Foxx was given The Generation Award and Will Ferrell was honoured with the first ever Comedic Genius Award.
The Avengers went home with the most golden popcorns after scooping the prizes for Movie of the Year and Best Fight, whilst Tom Hiddleston won Best Villain.
